Your first order in Alchemy For The Wicked
Hello esteemed alchemist,
I have an urgent order for a poison that must be done post-haste! My mother in law is to visit in the coming day, and I cannot bear to hear her drone about her mundane trip to the coastal territories.
Could you make something to put her to sleep when she gets here? You must not kill her, my wife would be mortified. But for the gods' sake, something needs to be done.
Best,
A fatigued nobleman
Your order seems to describe the need for a sleeping poison. Use the ingredient book by the front to find two ingredients that might combine to create that effect!
Ingredients in the book and their effects
- Lavender: a fragrant flower with a slightly sweet taste. Often used to relieve stress and insomnia.
- Bonemeal: Dried bones ground to a fine powder. Works great as a fertilizer and can help people to doze off in the right circumstances.
- Wolfbane: a highly toxic plant used by the Ancient Greeks to hunt wolves.
- Blood of Bat: a bit of beastly blood to better your bewitching brew. Can help herbs to better heal wounds.
- Cacao: the edible seeds of a tropical evergreen tree. Used to make irresistible chocolate which will melt when heated. Keep away from dogs, as it is poisonous to them.
- Chili Powder: spicy! When mixed with another spice it will wake you up with a fiery taste.
- Drop of Dew: Gathered on a cool night from an enchanted forest, it is still cool to the touch even hours after harvesting.
- Eye Of Newt: another name for a mustard seed. No news was harmed in the making of this ingredient. It can also increase the toxicity of other ingredients.
- Familiar's Hair: taken from a witch's familiar, a spiritual guardian commonly manifesting as a small animal, such as a cat. Useful in controlling the will or favor of a mortal being.
- Garlic: known to repel vampires. Also great for cooking.
- Moonsilver Leaf: a leaf from the moonsilver plant, a silver-blue succulent that dwells in the desert. Can harness the power of the moon to cool the world in the right circumstances.
- Sunflower Leaf: a flower that faces the sun and blooms in the summer. It can be used to harness the burning power of the sun.
- Tear of Lazarus: the extract of a mystical plant. Used in healing processes, it is the bane of all things undead.
- Cinnamon: A spice obtained from the bark of a tree. Zombies for some reason avoid it, despite working as a good gift for friendship. Also has the tendency to energize people.
