Only Up!

In the captivating platformer Only Up!, you play as a boy who jumps from platform to platform to explore a surreal world.

In Only Up, you'll see sights from other worlds. Here, players take charge of a young lad named Jack as he strives for the stars (in the most literal sense possible). Keep an eye out for opportunities to ascend as you make your way through the various surfaces, and take in the breathtaking views as you go. If you stumble and have to pick yourself up, remember that it is all a part of the adventure!

When the game begins, Jack is on the ground in the middle of a rundown neighborhood. He looks up and sees what appear to be a number of pipeline-like structures in the sky and is curious as to what they are. Jack sets out on a journey full of fantastical objects with the intention of fulfilling his quest by repeatedly jumping to higher platforms, only to discover that his journey is far from over. Even if he trips and falls on the way, nothing seems to happen to him even if he plummets from incredible heights. Help him navigate this vertical maze and discover its ultimate purpose.

Only Up! stands out from the crowd thanks to its exceptionally challenging gameplay design. The players' only objective is to jump from one platform to another, but this is easier said than done. Jumping is fairly simple in some areas, but more precise timing is required on narrower surfaces. Also, every time you die, any progress you made in the air is lost because there is no checkpoint in the game. This feature may seem harsh at first, but it actually adds to the game's appeal because the higher up you are, the more at stake each leap is.
